Cushing Burr is ideally suited for use in neurosurgical procedures specifically of the brain. A drill can be used to start a pilot hole which can then be further enlarged via use of a burr. This instrument can be used in procedures such as craniotomies which require access through the bony skull down to the softer brain tissue. Additionally this burr is slightly spherical shaped and is 16.0 mm.
